Electricity outage to hit Pa Khlok, Yao islands

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Pa Khlok and both of the Yao islands off Phuket’s east coast on Thursday (July 9) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

The areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30 pm, are along the east side ofR oute 4027, from Baan Bang Rong Mosque to the entrance to Route 4031, as well as Koh Nakha, Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai.

In its announcement, the PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
