Electricity outage to affect Patong

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of southern Patong tomorrow (Mar 11) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

The areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 5pm, are along Thaweewong Rd, Prachanukhro Rd and Ruamjai Rd, from Baan Laimai Beach Resort & Spa to Paradise Beach.

In its announcement, the PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.

What spoilage? Most fridges and freezers are able to retain food at a cold temperature for 24hrs, never mind 8 hours. Its simple- don't open the door unless necessary or buy a decent fridge freezer. Some people seem to complain for the sake of it.
