The two suspects were arrested at about 6:35pm on Tuesday (July 16), said an official report of the raid. The suspects were not named in the report.
“Accused No 1” was found with 175 methamphetamine pills (ya bah), cash along with “many other items”, said the report. “Accused number 2” was found with 13 ya bah pills.
In total, officers seized 188 ya bah pills and B2,010 in cash.
Both suspects were taken to Thalang Police Station and charged with illegal possession of a Category 1 narcotic, the report confirmed.
The officers are continuing their investigation in the hopes of identifying more suspects involve din the drug network, the report said.
