Mr Ampon told Phuket Vice Governor Kajornkiat Rakpanitmanee and other officials at a meeting at Provincial Hall, “We are calling on officials in Phuket to investigate these complaints. We have received at least 18 complaints specifically about three projects.”

The OCPB received complaints about delays in construction, of buyers unable to secure mortgages for units at the projects despite assurances from the developer, Mr Ampon told The Phuket News.

“We also received a complaint about unfinished construction at a site, and complaints about construction deviating from the plans presented,” he added.

Other complaints included a developer not installing appliances.

Despite his personal attention to the slew of complaints against the three projects in Phuket, Mr Ampon noted that action may take some time.

“After we collect all the necessary information related to the complaints, we will analyse the evidence before moving ahead with any recommendations for further action by officials,” Mr Ampon said.
