The minibus driver, Chaiyut Na Nakorn, 54, who was among the injured, told police that he was bringing the passengers back from Krabi.
“At that time it was raining heavily. The minibus slid and lost control, and went across the central reservation into the opposite lane.” It rolled at least once but luckily did not hit any other vehicles.
The injured were all friends or relatives of the driver. They were Kallaya Na Nakorn, 37, Sakulna Changreu, 26, Saraschana Taodang, 11, Patthama Na Nakorn, 8, and Phatchapon Kansin, 10. They were taken to Thalang Hospital for treatment. None was seriously hurt.
