The underpass near Chalong Pier will be closed to traffic from 9pm today (Sept 2) to 5am tomorrow (Sept 3) so that workers can carry out necessary repairs, the Phuket Highways Office has announced.
The Phuket Highways Office apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the tunnel closure. For additional information, people are advised to call 1586.
As the rainy season continues, the Chalong Underpass undergoes regular pump inspections and repairs. The Phuket Highways Office had previously closed the tunnel for traffic in mid-July and mid-August.
