The worker was grinding meat for use in the manufacture of dog chews.

The accident happened at Pet Smart Co which produces pet food and treats.

The worker, whose name was given as Sor, aged 37, was in the process of grinding meat used to produce chew bars for dogs when he was dragged into the machine.

Police are unsure why he ended up in the machine and will wait for the results of a post-mortem examination which should indicate whether he had a medical condition that might have caused him to fall unconscious and collapse into the machine.

Sor had worked for the company for five years and was described by work colleagues as a good worker who did not smoke or drink.
