The bus, owned by Nichanon Co and chartered to Anex Tour, was being driven by Aroon Yemgeua, 46. It was heading from Kamala towards Patong when it flipped, rolled off the road and down a hill, landing upside down in an entranceway below.

To Ed Sanders: This time the bus driver was not driving recklessly! The other car caused the accident and the bus driver is (this time) absolutely innocent. But you're right usually van, limousine and bus driver feel like they are formula 1 drivers who have to prove something.

Reckless like nowhere else. Bus drivers here drive the same as if they were driving a small sedan. No regard for their safety nor those of their passengers. Other people also in such a big hurry, even though there is never any hurry. Dangerous Thailand!
