Book Night with Jim Newport

Dexter, Breaking Bad, True Blood, even Batman now feature anti-heroes. Why have these anti-heroes suddenly become so popular? Why are audiences turning away from conventional heroes? Phuket resident Jim Newport (author of the Vampire Of Siam series) will attempt to answer this question in an entertaining evening at the elegant Blue Elephant Restaurant in Phuket City. The evening will be a “forties” themed affair with costumed waiters and waitresses. 1500 THB includes gourmet food and selected beverages provided by Andaman Wine Club and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Rotary Club of Patong Beach Local Children’s Fund.
