The incident, captured on CCTV and shared widely online, occurred in the early hours of yesterday (Mar 9). The footage shows a group of at least eight people arriving in a Toyota Fortuner and on motorcycles outside a home in Ratsada at about 4:40am.

The group, some carrying guns and knives, shouted for the occupants to come out, but no one did.

A second attempt was made around 5:05am when two men returned on bicycles. One approached the house and called out names, while another appeared to be recording on a mobile phone.

Three more individuals later joined them, one visibly armed. After standing outside and shouting for some time, they eventually left.

‘Ms J’ (pseudonym), a 23-year-old resident of the house, later filed a police complaint. She reported that the group was targeting her younger brother, ‘C’ (pseudonym), over what she called a “misunderstanding” with an individual known as "Thee".

Fearing for their safety, she and her family remained inside until the group dispersed.

The viral video has sparked concern among Phuket residents, with many commenting on the growing issue of gun violence in the area. Police are now investigating and working to identify those involved.
