Officers raided the Landmark Bar on Nanai Rd, Patong, at about 11:30pm on Tuesday (Sept 26), Patong Police reported through a post online yesterday (Sept 27).
In addition to photos of the minor working in the bar, the officers seized a cash bill, complete with the bar’s name, indicating the cost of the paying the minor to provide a “drinking service”.
The report by Patong Police did not name the person held responsible for the infractions, but confirmed that the charges to be pressed were operating a service venue without a permit, and having children under 20 years of age working in a service establishment during inappropriate hours.
“The accused was taken to the Patong Police Station to proceed according to the law,” the report concluded.
