In his new role, Mr Garcia oversees all sales operations for AVC. He has a 15-year track record in sales, marketing, branding, leadership, new business and customer service.
Before joining Anantara he held positions for nearly a decade at the Sheraton Vistana Resort in Orlando, Florida.
David Davis, promoted to Vice President of Call Centers, has taken the reins of call centre operations for the company, while simultaneously handling marketing efforts at AVC Sanya in China.
He joined the Anantara Vacation Club team nearly four years ago as Area Director of Marketing. Before that he worked for both Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ timeshare divisions in the US and Caribbean.
Scott Bender, promoted to Director of Owner Enhancement and Special Projects has the job of organising owner events. He joined AVC a year ago as a sales manager in the Owner Enhancement team.
Gary Lewis has been promoted to Regional Director of Marketing for Voyager, handling all regional marketing initiatives for the Voyager programme, which he has worked on for nearly two years.
