Phuket, Thailand - August 15, 2025 - An Island within an Island, Angsana Laguna Phuket - part of Banyan Group, once again raised the bar as a gracious and vibrant host, proudly serving as the venue sponsor for the 26th Miss Universe Thailand during the gathering in Phuket from August 10 - 15, 2025. The week-long program captured the true spirit of the Andaman, blending day-time exploration with star-studded nights of pageantry, culminating in a spectacular farewell celebration at the resort’s Loy Krathong Bar.
Miss Universe Thailand 2025 Phuket chapter unfolded under the campaign "Phuket, The Host City", inviting contestants from across the country to discover the island’s natural beauty, cultural charm and warm hospitality. By day, the contestants immersed themselves in the island’s treasures and local culture. By night, the spotlight shifted to dazzling themed galas that tested poise, creativity and charisma.

August, 14 Queen of Phuket, showcasing the island’s unique blend of culture and coastal glamour.
Bringing the festivities to a dazzling close in true Angsana flair, the resort hosted over 200 distinguished guests at the Hologram Night Farewell Party on Friday, August, 15. Nestled amidst lush tropical greenery and the shimmering reflections of the Loy Krathong Bar’s tranquil pond, the evening unfolded like a dream ; illuminated by futuristic light displays, enlivened with the pulsating rhythms of the dynamic Dibuka Man band and carried late into the night by an electrifying DJ set. Beneath a starlit sky, media, event partners, beauty queens and the Angsana family came together in a heartfelt toast, celebrating a week of unforgettable moments and the spirit of togetherness that defined the occasion.
Adding to the excitement, Phuket is marked to play a starring role as the host city for 74th Miss Universe competition. From November 8-12, 2025. The island will welcome over 130 contestants from across the globe for a dazzling series of super pageant activities, bringing the world’s spotlight to Phuket’s breathtaking scenery, rich heritage and warm hospitality. This global event will not only showcase the island’s charm on an international stage but also reinforce its position as one of the world’s premier destinations for beauty, culture and celebration.
