The airline announced the increase this week, citing strong and growing demand for travel to Phuket as the driver behind the move. The new schedule will boost capacity from the current two daily flights to three, giving travellers more flexibility and options during the busy year-end holidays and into 2026.

“Thailand continues to be one of the key destinations for both leisure and business travellers,” said Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia. “Increasing our flights to Phuket to three times daily is a direct response to the strong demand we are witnessing and reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding choice, convenience, and value for our customers.”

The expansion further strengthens Phuket’s air connectivity with the Gulf region, a market seen as increasingly important for the island’s tourism and trade. In addition to Phuket, Air Arabia also operates non-stop flights from Sharjah to Bangkok and Krabi, underlining the UAE carrier’s growing footprint in Thailand.

Air Arabia operates a fleet of 83 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft and offers value-added services such as complimentary in-flight streaming and its ‘Air Rewards’ loyalty programme.

Travellers can already book the expanded Phuket flights through the airline’s website, call centre or travel agents.
