2018 Tri Dash Triathlon

TRIATHLON: The popular Tri Dash triathlon series is returning to Phuket in 2018 with races scheduled for tomorrow (May 19) and October 20. The events are hosted by Thanyapura, and owned and organised by Thailand’s leading sport event organiser, Go Adventure Asia.

The Thanypura Tri Dash Phuket races are official warm up races for Asia’s longest standing triathlon, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018.
The Thanypura Tri Dash Phuket races are official warm up races for Asia’s longest standing triathlon, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018.

The Tri Dash is a sprint triathlon suitable for both beginners and seasoned athletes. The 400 metre swim is held in a 50m pool providing a safe swim for athletes. The bike course is a fast two-loop course through the rubber plantations around Thanyapura. The run course is also multi-looped and entirely within the Thanyapura complex.

The Thanypura Tri Dash Phuket races are official warm up races for Asia’s longest standing triathlon, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018.

The entry fee is B1,200 for individual athletes per race or B2,160 if registering for both races at the same time and B2,200 for relay teams per race.

Each athlete will receive a starter kit consisting of a Tri Dash T-shirt, a drawstring bag, a race belt and a bike bottle.

The Thanypura Tri Dash Phuket races are part of the Tri Dash Thailand series, a series of sprint triathlons held in both Bangkok and Phuket. The 2018 Bangkok series consists of a total of eight races with two additional races held in Phuket.
