In the second half, former Phuket FC midfielder Eakartit Somjit's (No. 22) cross found a surging Matias Recio (No. 38), who finished with a header to force the ball into the back of the net and put TTM up by two goals.
The final goal came from an assist by Recio as he was chased by two Phuket defenders before he made a through pass to Nattapat Somsri (No. 27) inside the penalty box to put TTM FC up by three.
Though Phuket FC did control much of the pace of the game, the team were unable to find the back of the net even when Pradipat Amatantri (No. 25) had an open goal in the second half. Chances by Yusuke Sato, Moussa Sylla and Berlin Nlome-Ndebi were squandered by solid goalkeeping from TTM's Argentinean goalkeeper, Echenique Lucas Daniel.
