The first leg will be played at the 5,500 seat Lampang Central Stadium in Lampang on either April 18 or April 19. The announcement was made during the draw for the Toyota League Cup in Bangkok on Tuesday (March 10). The competition pits teams from all levels of Thai football against one another in two legs of play.
Lampang FC plays in the Regional League Division 2, North Zone and were founded just five years ago.
Last year, the Ronins finished off Thai Premier League teams Srisaket FC (2-1) and Police United (1-1 full time, 3-1 penalties) before losing to Bangkok Glass 1-0 in the third round of the competition. The Ronins played all three games in front of their home crowd at Surakul Stadium, with the last match against Bangkok Glass attended by a record 7,000 fans.
Phuket FC are set to take on Thai Honda on Wednesday (March 11) at 7pm at Surakul Stadium in Phuket Town before heading into a three week break. The Ronins will resume play at home on April 4 at 7pm before heading to Air Force Central FC for a clash on April 8 at 6pm.
