Special events hosted by Thailand Pool Tables, such as world records attempt by Dave “Ginger Wizard” Pearson, has been primary reason why the love of the game has expanded.
Support for the league is growing fast; the competitors are arguably the most passionate and most committed to their teams. This was evident in last year’s season, with all players and fans; the level of passion that was shown from the side lines was a sight to be seen.
The open pool league is working on growing the sport among females, and therefore the league is perfect both for those who are only planning to get involved in 8-ball for the first time, as well as more experienced players looking to play at an elite level.
When you register an all-women’s team, sanction fees will be waved, this means your membership is free.
Thailand Pool Tables hopes to possibly expand the league into Bangkok next year. As there is already a Koh Samui division, a Bangkok division would cement the VNEA Pool League as the premier competition in Thailand.
