The winner of the match will move on to a quarter-final matchup just one week later on June 18.
This is not the first time Phuket FC have played a TPL-team in the tournament.
In round two of the Toyota Cup, the Ronins defeated TPL-side Police United FC on April 30 in a penalty shootout (4-2) after a 1-1 draw during regulation and overtime. That match saw the return of ex-Phuket player Eduardo “Dudu” Purcino to Surakul Stadium, who also scored Police United's lone goal in regulation.
Meanwhile, Bangkok Glass are currently 7th on the Thai Premier League table and finished in 5th place last year.
