Dr Bundit’s report, three pages of which were released to The Phuket News, lists damning details of the Tiger Disco’s fire safety measures.

The report says there were no fire alarms in the Tiger Disco, and the fire escapes were damaged, and the fire extinguishers were between 1.5 and 1.8 metres off the ground.

The fire escape doors were also built from highly flammable material and the fire escape ladders did not reach the ground.

The four dead were found only four to six metres away from the fire escape door, and that most damage was on the second floor, the report says.

Excessive use of Styrofoam and other flammable material “sped up” the blaze, the report said.

A separate forensic report on the Tiger blaze, believed to detail how the fire started, is due to be released on Monday.
