The hearing is now scheduled to take place in November, after it was learned that investigations by Region 8 Police had not been completed.
The owners of the disco – which went up in flames on August 16 last year, killing four people – are accused of causing death through negligence.
The prosecution alleges that the deaths were the result of excessive used of flammable decor in the disco and a short circuit in the disco's electrical system.
The defence has countered that the fire was the result of a lightning strike.
