Three arrested in Phuket for selling counterfeit goods

PHUKET: Three people were arrested in Patong on Monday (March 9) for openly selling counterfeit goods on Taweewong Rd.

Kathu police, led by Col Suthichai Tienpo and joined by Phubate Mingkhawn, a representative of a company that has that has made complaints about counterfeit goods being sold in Patong, arrested three people with 583 pirated goods.

Prakarn Panha, 40, from Payao, Pacharee Chukleang, 38, from Songkhla and Alissa Kritkamjon, 40, from Patong were all taken to Kathu police station and charged with selling possession of counterfeit goods.

All three were arrested on their stalls on Taweewong Rd which sold counterfeit purses, glasses and jewellery.
