Kathu Police Lieutenant Colonel Chaowalit Niemwadee said they were searching for a slender Thai man who pointed a gun at shop assistant Niranya Chim-oi, demanding money from the shop’s cash register.

The man got away with B23,000 from the store on Pisitkoranee Rd, but his identity remains unknown as his face was disguised by a large motorbike helmet.

Police are searching for the man and are hoping to release a sketch of what he might look like.
