Construction of the store, on 31 rai opposite the Sri Suppalak cashew factory, began two months ago and will be completed in about nine months.
The company sells more than 100,000 product lines ranging from construction tools, cement, and steel roof trusses to lighting, electrical equipment, and home furnishings.
Thai Watsadu already has 28 stores around Thailand and is on a major expansion push.
Two years ago the president of parent company CRC Power Retail, Suthisarm Chirathivat, revealed a 15-year plan to open at least 60 Thai Watsadu stores countrywide. Each is being built at a cost of around B900 million and will have around 30,000 metres of covered space.
