Anti-narcotics police led by Phuket City Police’s Maj Rittichai Chumchuy arrested the ten people who were found to be in possession of a variety of drugs along with guns and ammunition.
The arrests were made as follow:
Nov 3
Mr Sarawuth Sithiworakul, 26, with 1.38 grams of crystal meth (ya ice) and other illegal items. He is to be charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell.
Ms Katiya Chaichana with 0.42g of ya ice. She is to be charged with possession of Category 1 drug.
Ms Summa Thongrod, 30, with 43.60g of ya ice and other illegal items. She is to be charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell
Nov 4
Mr Thanawuth Thongborisut, 23, in possession of an automatic pistol, 11 rounds of .38 bullets and other illegal items. He is to be charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition and carrying a weapon into a public place without a permit.
Mr Adisorn Kongplan, 33, with 1.62g of ya ice. He is to be charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell.
Mr Tossapon Tantiwittayaphan, 27, with 10.15g of ya ice and other illegal items. He is to be charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell and attempting to sell.
Nov 5
Mr Arwuth Pathan, 27, with 280.54g of ya ice and other illegal items. He is to be charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell.
Mr Niran Lanlongsa, 21, and Mr Wanlop Kamchan, 27, who were found in possession of 22g of ya ice, 1,271 methamphetamine pills (ya bah), an unregistered automatic pistol, two homemade guns and 13 bullets. Police also seized from the two a Toyota Altis and other illegal items. The pair are to be charged with possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and carrying a weapon in a public place without a permit.
Ms Purida Kodwanta, 56, with 1.46 of ya ice, six ya bah pills and other items. She is to be charged with possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
