On Friday night, the woman went to the Walking Street and at approximately 4am on Saturday called Mr Chin aged 44, a Thai musician from a Beer Bar in central Pattaya,to request a lift home.
Mr Chin agreed to pick-up the woman and take her home. She does not recall what happened next and woke up late on Saturday afternoon in an apartment which she thinks is owned by Mr Chin.
The woman made her way home and received a text message on her phone from Mr Chin, stating he was sorry for having sex with her and hoped she could forgive him as he loved her very much.
The woman told her father who then accompanied his daughter to Pattaya Police Station where the incident was reported. Police later sent the female victim to hospital where checks were made to confirm if sexual intercourse took place and if any medication was in her system which may have rendered her unconscious.
The investigation is ongoing and Khun Chin has yet to be arrested.
