Indeed, the Phuket judges' task to make the final selection was no cake walk. The qualifiers brought the best of the best on the local scene to narrow the list down to only the cream of the crop (see box), who will go on to be sized up with the top flowboarders in the Asia Pacific region (Saipan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Thailand and Malaysia), to congregate on the world-famous Double FlowRider® to vye for championship titles and a place on the Asia FLOW (Flowboarding Leage Of the World) Team.
This team will consist of one male flowboarder, one female flowboarder and one bodyboarder; together these champions will take on a bigger challegers as they will be flown to USA representing Asia on the international stage at the FLOW Championships (FlowRider) against the world’s elite.
Only the top 3 from the Pro Divisions will head to the Flow House Bangkok Pro Championship Finals October 4 to compete to represent Asia at the world FLOW Championships.
