The restaurant is called Ko Benz and having been serving locals for 15 years it is now one of the most popular places for locals to eat at night.
When I last visited, the restaurant was already full by 7pm, and this is the case nearly every night of the week.
Ko Benz is famous for its Kao Lao Lued Moo (pork intestines and pork blood soup) and Kao Tom Haeng (dried porridge).
The distinctive points of the former are that the taste of the entrails isn’t at all how you would expect it to be. The soup also has a rich and robust flavour that is filling.
Ko Benz’s menu only features seven dishes, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble choosing what you want.
Ko Benz is open 7pm–3.30am every day except Buddhist days.
