The event will be held in different cities and resort destinations across the Asia Pacific region and is scheduled to debut on October 11th at Bang Wad Dam in Kathu.
The public is invited to participate in Starwood ‘Run to Give’, since it is a charity run event and they encourage local communities to explore their local surroundings, as well as evolving wellness experiences and raising funds for the local charities.
Entry for the 10km race is B350 per person and athletes will complete by gender as general entry or in the following age groups; 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 years old and over. In addition, for the 3km race, entry is B250 per person and is open to all genders and age-groups.
All types of runner may join the fancy costume contest to win special accommodation prizes.
All runners are encouraged to register in advance, registration is ongoing and application forms are available at all 3 Starwood properties. All participants will receive souvenirs such as a T-shirt, bag and Thai liniment oil after registration is complete.
The registration desk will be available on Saturday, October 10 at Bang Wad Dam from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. In addition, a lucky draw, souvenirs giveaway and other interesting activities are also set for the event day.
On the day, the 10km and 3km races will start at 6:00am, starting and finishing at Bang Wad Dam. The winners will be awarded trophies and prizes from Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
Lucky draw vouchers can be purchased on the day to support charity donations and get a chance to win prizes from Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Funds raised from the Starwood ‘Run to Give’ event will be donated to 3 charity projects including Koh Siray School, the lunch project initiated by H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the Pan Fun Pan Yim to support the less fortunate children in the communities.
