The body was found washed up on the sand at Baan Laai Leam near the Melati Beach Resort & Spa, at 10.30 am.
A member of the Kuson Satha Rescue Foundation said, “The body cannot be identified at the moment. There is a tattoo on the right arm but it is very blurred. We think the victim has been dead at least a month, possibly two.”
The corpse is to be sent to the Forensics Department at Suratthani Hospital today.
