Phuket Police Commander Maj Gen Choti Chavaviwat told The Phuket News this morning that an arrest warrant has been issued for another Hungarian, Kvalka Lajos Gyoerey, for his believed involvement in the murder of Mr Reisz.
Police yesterday identified a rented house in the Phanason project near Makro Phuket as the scene of the murder. Gen Choti said that a 12-inch knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found in the house.
Mr Reisz’s body was found in Kathu last Friday (November 30) stabbed and bashed in the head and wrapped in plastic.
Police are already looking for a business associate of Mr Reisz, Israeli-Hungarian Moshe David. See earlier story here.
