Second person dies after yesterday’s four car collision in Phuket

PHUKET: A second person who was injured in the four car collision on Thepkassattri Rd last night (Feb 15) has succumbed to their injuries The Phuket News has learned today (Feb 16).

It was reported yesterday that 62-year-old Mr Wasuwat Saeloo suffered leg injuries after a car crashed into the back of a pick up truck causing the truck to cross the central reservation and collide with another two vehicles. (See story here)

Mr Saeloo was admitted to Thalang Hospital as a result of his injuries, however, he was pronounced dead between 8pm-9pm last night.

A third person also injured in the collision, 30-year-old Mr Charit Saetan, was also initially taken to Thalang Hospital, however, he has since been transferred to Vachira Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
