Police are waiting for more concrete evidence before seeking their arrest warrants, he said.

A bomb at the Central Festival shopping complex's underground parking lot on April 10 hurt seven people and damaged around 10 vehicles.

"We have identified the perpetrators, who also include women, but are waiting for more evidence. Existing evidence indicates the bombing was politically motivated. A well-known southern politician is believed to be behind it," he said today (April 18).

Officials ruled out business conflicts and southern unrest after the evidence showed no link to such causes, he added.
