Thalang police were notified at 3:10am yesterday morning that one of their officers had been assaulted by a customer inside the Makam Deekwuy pub on Thepkrasattri Rd in Srisoonthorn.

Police arrived at the pub with Kusoldharm rescue workers and were told that someone had already taken the victim to hospital.

The officer, later identified as Sen Sgt Maj Sukon Kaewthongsan, received five stitches to his face at Thalang Hospital and was released immediately after receiving treatment.

After being released from the hospital Sen Sgt Maj Sukon reported the incident to Capt Santichai Simai. He confirmed that he was assaulted by a customer inside the pub.

A police officer, alone in a pub at 03:10 AM ( thoughts bars are closed that time by law?) only can be there as a private person.
Police mentioning that a police officer was assaulted in a bar after official closing time?
What is a police officer doing privately in a bar after by law official closing time?
Is he not aware as a thai officer of the law about of his position?
To live according the thai laws he has to enforce?

Not filed any charges against the culprit?
So, it was a fight between friends at that time of the day?
