The suspect used a hotel as a base from which to peddle his drugs, according to Pol Maj Rungsak Maichandee.
The suspect was named as Somboon Seawang, 23, and was arrested with the massive drugs cache contained in 200 packages. The police also confiscated three mobile phones, two bank books and a Kasikorn Bank ATM card not belonging to Somboon.
Somboon was charged with possession of drugs with intent to sell, and the police are now hunting another suspect in connection with the case.
