Phuket water supply shut-off as workers upgrade Koh Kaew mains

PHUKET: The Phuket Waterworks Authority (PWA) has announced that water supply in some parts of Koh Kaew will be shut off tomorrow (Aug 25) as workers upgrade the mains to increase the efficiency of water supply in that area.

Water supply to major housing developments in Koh Kaew will be affected by the waterworks starting tomorrow (Aug 25).
Water supply to major housing developments in Koh Kaew will be affected by the waterworks starting tomorrow (Aug 25).

“Water supply in the area will be shut off temporarily while workers connect the new mains pipe to the system to increase the quality of water distribution throughout the area,” the PWA announced in a press release issued today (Aug 24).

Water will be shut off from 9:30am “until workers finish” on each day for “at least” one to two days while the work is completed, the announcement said.

Affected areas include in front of the Isuzu dealership in Koh Kaew and Chao Fah Garden Home Koh Kaew, as well as the Land & House Inizio, Baan Burasiri, Indy II and Habitia-Habitown housing developments.
