Already with numerous Golf awards won in both local and international tournaments, Mark was the only Asian golfer in “Class C” boys of the world's biggest youth tournament, and excelled to win it, outdoing more than 1,000 young golfers competing.
Mark is currently studying in Year 8 at Kajonkiet International School Phuket, and started playing golf when only 7 years old.
His family, who's kept him diciplined from trivial leisure activities such as video games and social networking, believed that golf would enhance his concentration in school and extracurricular activities.
His golf journey has not been easy, however.
The Luangnitikul family devoted themselves, reinforced with private funding, to support the boy's success.
His father, Mr. Preecha was strict about discipline, strength of mind, playing techniques and nutrition, and also studied in detail himself to follow Mark to tournaments.
Now moving into Year 8 at Kajonkiet International School Phuket. Mark has done well academically as well in his sporting activities.
He is a good student and hard worker who always makes an effort to catch up work that he has missed when he returns from a tournament.
His achievement at the Junior World Golf Championship is a young golfer’s dream and his next challenge is to maintain his ranking.
Mark’s golf journey has not come from luck but is only from striving hard work and love in Golf.
