Phuket rescue workers help stranded foreigners

Two foreign women should be thankful to two Kusoldharm Rescue Foundation workers who stopped to help them after the front left wheel of their Honda Vios came off this morning (January 23), whilst driving along Pra Phuket Keaw Rd towards the Tesco Lotus Intersection.

The driver of the vehicle managed to stop the car immediately in the outside lane of the road. However, this meant other vehicles had to pass slowly on the inside lane, causing slight tailbacks.

The Kusoldharm Rescue Foundation staff told The Phuket News, “We were passing on the other side of the road and noticed there was a traffic jam on the opposite side so we stopped. We then saw that the wheel of the Honda Vios had come off.

“We offered to help them, and even though they were not so polite, we helped put the wheel back on and move the car out of the road.

“They were very lucky that the incident didnĚ•t cause an accident, and that they were not hurt.”

When a Phuket News reporter tried to talk to the two about the incident, one replied, somewhat unhappily, “Nothing Happened.”
