Phuket City police led by Lt col Naruebadin Pangleesen at 8pm on Wednesday (June 22) arrested 19-year-old Rapipat Samor who was found to be in possession of a homemade .38 pistol, 11 bullets and .56 grams of crystal meth (ya ice) at a home in Soi Chumchonkumnam in Phuket Town.
Rapipat was taken to Phuket City Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition and possession of a Category 1 drug.
Meanwhile, yesterday (June 23) Thalang Police carried out a swoop of their area and arrested three men; Bunlang Longlalerng, 35, Attachai Ekbuncha, 24 and Yuthana Labjumpon, 31, at Kan Kayha Baan Lipon in Srisoonthorn who together had in their possession 1.2 litres of kratom juice, 3.41g of marijuana, a homemade pistol, four shotgun shells and drug taking paraphernalia.
All three were taken to Thalang Police Station where they were charged with possession of Category 5 drugs. Banlang was also charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
