Mr Shen received visits over the weekend from Governor Maitree Intusut, Kathu District Officer Veera Kerdsirimongkol, the speedboat owner and the jet-ski operator.
Qin Jian, Vice Consul of the Chinese Consulate in Songkla told The Phuket News today (September 2) that the investigation into what happened has yet to be completed.
However, he noted, “The speedboat owner paid for Mr Shen’s medical treatment. The good thing is that he has been moved out of the intensive care unit.”
