Phuket International Rugby 10 - 2015

The Thanyapura Sports Club will once again be the venue for the 17th edition of the annual Phuket International Rugby 10s. The tournament will kick off with the Athena Siam Coffin Dodgers Vets tournament. 16 teams will compete throughout the day for the chance to play in the finals on Sunday. Teams from Abu Dhabi,Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand will compete for the prestigious trophy. In the Open Tournament which will kick off on Saturday 30th May previous champions the Moorabbin Rams from Australia & the Emirates Airlines Flying Muppets will look to add to their tally. Al Ain Amblers current UAE champions will field a strong side and will look to go a step further after being knocked out at the semi final stage last year. The Phuket Vagabonds led by inspirational captain Darryn Mathee will field a strong side and will look to win for the first time in what is the clubs 21st anniversary year.
