Although it is highly likely that the newly formed Andaman Dragon will play in Southern Region Division 2 this season, the league in which they have already played a League Cup qualifying game, President MaAnn Samran will not announce details of the coming season until the club’s position has finally been confirmed by Football Association of Thailand (FAT).
Phuket were due to play their season opener against Pattani FC this Sunday at Surakul Stadium, however, it was announced by the FAT last week that it had postponed the kick off of the top flight of the national football by a week to March 5, and that they had also postponed the kick off of the Regional League (Division two) to March 26.
According to MaAnn, this date has not formally been confirmed.
The Phuket News will inform readers of the position with the club and the upcoming season as soon as we become aware.
