PHUKET: Following a tip off that teenagers were drinking alcohol and taking drugs outside a house on Soi Patuk in Karon, police on Friday (Oct 24) arrested a 37-year-old man in possession of nearly 400 ya bah (amphetamine) pills and a small amount of ya ice (crystal meth).

Pongsakorn Paiboon points to 390 amphetamine pills and crystal meth found during a police raid of his home in Karon on Friday (Oct 25).
Police raided the premises at 11.50pm and found suspected drug dealer Pongsakorn Paiboon in possession of 390 ya bah pills and 0.71 grams of ya ice.
Pongsakorn reportedly confessed to dealing drugs, telling police he sold ya bah for B280 per pill and ya ice for B2,800 a gram.
Pongsakorn was charged with possession and intent to sell Category 1 narcotics.
