Phuket City water to be shut-off tomorrow

PHUKET: The Phuket Waterworks Authority (PWA) has announced that the water supply will be shut-off in some parts of Phuket City, tomorrow (Oct 22) due to works being carried out on high-voltage power. The shut-off will be from 9am-5:30pm and affect 31 roads in the area.

In their statement, the PWA said affected roads would be; Dumprong Rd; Montri Rd; Luangpor Rd; Thalang Rd (from the Post Office junction to Thepkrasattri Rd intersection); Phang Nga Rd (Standard Charter Bank building to Shell gasoline station); Phuket Rd (Standard Charter Bankbuilding to Sapan Hin including Soi Surin, Soi Sansuk 1 and 2, Soi Kor Pai, Soi Sapan Hin; Surin Rd; Srisutad Rd; Sriseana Rd; Anupas Phuket Rd; Tah Reu Mai Rd; Tilok Uthit 1 and 2 roads; Nimit Rd; Ongsimpai Rd; Thungka Rd; Mea Luan Rd; Vichit Songkram Rd (from Pathitphat Rd to Phuket Thaihau School); Phatthana Rd; Soi Thonglor; Pathiphat Rd (from Rang Hill to Juitui Shrine); Ranong Rd (from Jui Tui Shrine to Ranong Rd and Vichit Songkram Rd); Yaowarat Rd (from Merlin Hotel intersection to Phuket Technical College; Damrong Rd (from Satree Phuket School to Phuket City Water Authority Office); Palian Rd; Phuyaiban Rd; Kamnan Rd; Narisorn Rd; Ram Phatthana Rd; Trang Rd and Amphur Rd.

Residents in the area are advised to make sure they have enough water in stock to last throughout the day.
