Both Michah (11) and Jonah Duchowny (9) travelled to Spain recently and have participated in training session with the country's top teams in Madrid as well as ADA Alcorcon
The boys were given the exciting opportunity of exhibiting their football skills to world-class coaches at Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and ADA Alcorcon.
In the past two years, the Duchowny boys have travelled to training camps at Cruzeiro EC Youth Academy in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and at the University of California Losa Angeles (UCLA). The boys, as well as their father Bobby Duchowny, credit their development to DISP Cruzeiro Football Academy Head Coach Jonathas Candido for raising their skill level.
The BISP-Cruzeiro Football Academy began two years ago, about six months after the boys travelled to Brazil. Candido arrived at the school to take charge of the newly-created academy in November 2013, and the programme began in early 2014.
Prior to his arrival in Phuket, Jonathas was Youth Football Coach and Scout for the leading professional football club in Brazil, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, where he led the Cruzeiro U20 team to national honours. - Article written with information from the BISP Blog.
