At 2:52am yesterday, Mr Teeranan Mukdee, Branch Manager of the Krung Thai Bank on Rath-U-Thit 200 Pi Rd in Patong went to Patong Police Station to report that a man had been caught on CCTV causing damage to an ATM machine outside the branch.

An officer from Patong Police Station who asked not be named said that after making investigations they learned that the man who caused the damage was 34-year-old Anucha Jantawong.

Police managed to track down Anucha who said that after depositing money into the machine he tried to update his passbook but the passbook failed to show his transaction.

I got very angry so I destroyed the ATM,” Anucha said.

Police are still investigating the incident to see what, if any, charges will be brought against Anucha.

I think Kurt needs an urine test..................

The Phuket News

Kurt | 12 November 2016 - 17:06:31

A bit dumb reaction of swerve:
A normal person would not damage a ATM like that.
So he could have been under influence of drugs, as Phuket Island is floating on drugs.
And yes, drugs are entering Phuket island over the bridge, during police lunch time, diner time ,..AND at night.!

Sorry to swerve that I did not typed the word ..AND..

But when having brains one could imagine everything, yes?
Swerv pass by himself by his obsession about my writings.

Drugs are passing by the police at the bridge to Phuket island, Swerv.
That is no rocket science, to use your words.
During breakfast, lunch, dinner time of the police over there and during nights when they need some rest from driving in day time part time taxi's and Van's from Airports as I experienced myself.
That is why Phuket is floating on drugs.

Kurt: What has drugs got to do with a damaged ATM?
You really do go off on a tangent.

Can't make any sense of police lunch and dinner times at night?
Maybe i am wrong but i thought lunchtime was in the daytime and dinner is in the evening. It is in my house anyway.

Actually it is amazing that such violent thai are not immediately tested on a urine drugs test.

Phuket is sinking under the 'drug loads'.
Much catched by police, yes.

But first they let pass through at the bridge to Phuket island.
By....? Yes,
And so it goes on, coz police at entering spot of Phuket island is having her own 'agenda' and heavy eye lids.
Otherwise the drugs flow will not as it is now. Right?
Laziness, stupidity, police lunch and dinner times during which the drugs flow in on the Island.. At night.

@Jome, It is not about the damaged ATM, it is about a mental not normal person, a unguided human thai missile.
Like that Thai man who attacked a thai pump attendant at a gas station. Did you read that?
Complete thai madness.
You can be his next victim. Anywhere. That is amazing, Jome.
Think a bit behind that ATM story.. Understand?

You can be his next victim/target, at a car park or so.
May be than he has a gun. A unequal thai-thai meeting. Yes?

Perhaps the by you so called bored farangs think a bit further than you do.
Thai mental ill people should be treated. Is that a wrong thought?

Its is already amazing that a damaged ATM makes headlines....it is however much more amazing to read the comments of bored to death stupid farrangs on this

I'm glad they put the 'out of service' sign up as I never would have known!

When the bank file complain with police, this lunatic will be charged. Sure.
Did the police check him on drugs?
Is he mentally disordered?
Do we have to be protected, meaning he should be locked up for our safety?
