Both academies, along with Cruzeiro, are looking forward to representing Phuket in the PSS 3rd national youth tournament at Thanyapura on October 3 and 4.
The PSS goal of the day was from the Under 12s where GK Shay played an inch perfect through ball to midfielder Lou who cleverly headed the ball past the oncoming MDEN GK to squeeze the ball in of the post.
PSS Under 8s played 3 x 15 min games (drew 1 lost 2); PSS Under 10s played 2 x 18 min games (drew 1 lost 1) while PSS Under 12s played 2 x 18 min games (won 1 drew 1).
The score was finally settled with a penalty shoot-out with all age groups, with MDEN proving penalty kings with a best of 5 shoot out.
An exciting day of football played on Thanyapura stadium pitch in shaded weather, with both teams being clapped on the field by parents and supporters.
