Lt Sompop Kamkana of the Royal Thai Navy’s Third Area Command told The Phuket News, “We are continuing to work on returning national forest land to the Forest Department.

“The case involving this specific area was not so difficult because since March of this year, when we posted notices about claiming the land, nobody has come to claim ownership.

“Our next task will be Sirinat National Park which we will be dealing with soon,” he said.
