The sweep began when plain-clothes police separately approached Somporn Dachadonbom, 33, and Ungkan Sanboonsiri, 27, and bought crystal methamphetamine and methamphetamine pills from them. They were charged with possession to sell.
They then went on to arrest seven more people, all on charges of possession of crystal meth: Sangjan Jarigram 44, Porntip Pengkeaw 43, Thawattichai Janmanee 32, Karin Asawasak 26 ,Thongchai Janchai 27, Tusanai Sangmog 32, and Wimonporn Chaiyasook 28.
A total of 3.09 grammes of ice was seized.
