Students on the island who have an ED-Visa are now required to attend two-hour classes 5 times per week, ThaiVisa.com reports.
Students in Bangkok, however, are required to attend two-hour classes, 4 times per week.
It is not yet known if the new rules will go into affect for the entire Kingdom.
Earlier this year, immigration authorities made several other changes regarding the process of applying for ED-Visa extensions, Non-Immigrant B extensions and out-in Visa runs that affected thousands of foreigners in Phuket.
